Full Bleed, Issue 8
PUBLICATION — 2025
    launched in Spring 2017, Full Bleed is devoted to the 
    intersection of the visual and literary arts. each 
    issue offers readers a thoughtfully curated gathering of
    innovative writing, artwork, and design organized 
    around a timely theme, with 2025’s theme being 
    censorship.

here are some of the first passes of my assigned spreads, which i got a healthy amount of feedback on from my professor and team. working with my peers on the same spreads allowed me to take a step back from my bubble of ideas and consider the layouts in ways that i previously had never thought of. even though these layouts did not make it to print, i hope to reference these same ideas in the future.





Wave Lyric Video
MOTION GRAPHICS  — 2024
  • kinetic typography assignment to create a type-only 
  • motion based video on a novel, song, speech, poem, or 
  • interview in two different languages.

the chosen song was Wave by Antônio Carlos Jobim, performed by Luiza Jobim and Daniel Jobim. 




these are the preliminary storyboards for the video and an early style frame. the plan was to have the text do most of the wave-like motions, but my peers thought that the arrows in my storyboard were apart of the animation. from there, i played with the idea of having an actual line portray the movements of water and it became apart of the final video.



BeReal Accordian Book
BRAND TRANSLATION  — 2024
    a project to translate an existing brand into visual form through conveying essential qualities or conditions evoked by the brand such as sophistication, precision, status, innovation, ease of
use, friendliness through visual storytelling. official brand logos and workmarks were not allowed.

the final interpretation was an accordian book.




      i aimed to convey the process of interacting with the photo app from the moment the notification is sent through uploading the final photos. i dug into different filters and effects to interpret the feeling of using the app in combination with how the brand presents itself: cool,  spontaneous, and real. 



      Ceramic Colanders
      PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY  — 2024
